Npower Begins Installment Payment of 9Month Stipends to Beneficiaries: The managers of the Federal Government Npower program have begun the massive payment of 9 months stipends to 440,000 batch C beneficiaries, the office of the Humanitarian Affairs Minister disclosed
The Senate committee called the minister in charge of Npower Dr. Betta Edu regarding the payment of 9 months stipends to Npower batch c beneficiaries and the minister in charge of Npower assured Npower batch c that payment would be made to Npower batch c beneficiaries in three weeks
During the Social Investment Budget Defense, the finance officer of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster and Social Development. made it vividly clear at the end part of the video, that payment would commence in 21 days, the reason being that, the N29Billion balance would have been released to be added to the N89.9Billion already recovered and lying idle with the CBN

News reaching us from the Office of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation is that the planned 9-month payment is scheduled to be paid in the wee days of January 2024, this is to give way for the new recruitment of 1 million beneficiaries
Already, 440,000 names of beneficiaries have been captured by the FG/CBN IPPIS payment platform, this will trigger an alert to beneficiaries in days to come (an anonymous CBN staff disclosed)
As we are all aware the N35,000 palliative grant to 15 million Nigerians has started, 15 million households tantamount to 60 people will benefit from this scheme
Funds recovered from the previous consultant have been recovered and returned to the CBN for disbursement, all affected and bonafide beneficiaries will be settled within a few days ahead
More so, payment of stipend will be done in installments; meaning beneficiaries will be getting their payment in tranches as the CBN payment NBBS system is already inputting names for massive disbursement
Within the first week of the month of November, beneficiaries will be alerted by their banks, and all tranches will be paid within November and December, the Npower program director, Mr. Akindele added
