Lagos Agripreneurship Programme (LAP) Intensive Training 2022/2023: Lagos Agripreneurship Programme (LAP) is aimed at creating jobs, alleviating poverty, and ensuring food security through training and empowerment of women and youths in modern agricultural practices as Agripreneurs.

This is In line with the roles of the Ministry of Agriculture in the T.H.E.M.E.S. developmental agenda of the State Government which include Capacity Building, Wealth & Employment Generation, and Ensuring Food Security, among others.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for placement into a One-Month Training in Poultry, Piggery, Aquaculture, Vegetable Value Chains, E-Agric, and Agribusiness at the Agricultural Training Institute, Araga, Epe.

At the completion of training, participants will also undergo a minimum of 3 months of internship and mentorship phases in their chosen value chains.

Requirements for Lagos Agripreneurship Programme (LAP) Intensive Training

Applicants should have the following requirements as criteria for admission

A senior secondary school diploma is required.

Satisfactory physical/health condition

Age ranges between 18 and 35 years for men and 18 and 55 years for women.

Unemployed

Passion for agriculture

Successful participants will then be connected to loan providers for consideration.

Portal opens on september 12, 2022,

Only qualified candidates must go to the LAP application portal to submit their online applications.

The registration form should be filled out and the necessary paperwork, including the applicant’s LASRRA Card and academic credentials, uploaded according to the online instructions.

Before visiting the registration page, applicants are urged to take images of the aforementioned papers and save them on their smartphones, tablets, laptops, or desktop computers. This makes it simpler to upload documents when requested.

To avoid having their application rejected, applicants are advised to include all necessary information.

Candidates who have been shortlisted will receive an SMS inviting them to take the online aptitude test on dates to be determined for each month.
