News Agency of Nigeria reports that, the screening test was schedule to hold 10th October but faild, the Ondo state governoship election made forceful postpostment of the test

Over One Million Persons Applied
More than a million applicants went into the cyber café to show interest in the Federal Teachers’ Scheme job.

But lessthan 20,000 were shortlisted for the screening test interview, scheduled to take place before the end of October, 2020
7,400 Applicants Are Needed (200 per state)
The screening test will further reduce the numbers of shortlisted applicants to less than 8,000, the publicity secretary of the UBEC stated
The Universal Basic Education Commission, in her last publication said, they are looking for 7,400 teachers, 200 per states, to make up for the shortfall recorded in Unity schools nationwide
Going by this statement, only 7,400 teachers will be onboarded and enrolled.
The Screening Test will be Computer based (CBT)
The screening test will be a Computer Base Test, a test where all applicants will use computers to answers questions

Formally, manual test were used, that was during the 1990. But since Science and Technology have advanced with interesting features, applicant’s are now required to take CBT, to easy the process

The Job is for 24 Months
The federal Techers’ Scheme Job is only but for 24 months (2 years), applicants have been warned to this effect.
The Scheme is to last only for 2 years without a day added, by agreeing to the terms and conditions of the programme before submtiing the online forms, all applicants have agreed to leave after 2 years of the programme
Applicanst can not sue for extention of their tenure nor seek permanent appointment thereafter
No Permanency after Expiration of 24 months
The Sum of $79 or N30, 000 naira will be Paid as Stipends
The Scheme agreed to pay the Sum of $79 or N30, 000 naira as Stipends to volunteers for only 24 months, the money is included in the 2021 Educational Budget presented to the joint section of the National Assembly by the president
Succesful Applicants will be posted to Unity Schools
Only successful applicants will be on boarded and enrolled into Government owed schools
