Recruitment into DSS/SSS for 2024
The DSS/SSS don’t have a portal for online application, recruitment into the secrete service is done manually, recruitment into the secrete service can be done at any time, and they have no fixed time for recruitment
Applicants are required to submit Hard copy CVs and their applications to the state DSS office nationwide, after which thorough checks and investigation is done to determine the qualification of the applicants
Visit your state office of DSS/SSS and submit your application and CVs, there is no fixed date for the recruitment, your CV will be collected and filed, and you will be called for an interview
Final shortlisting will be announced via mail
Requirements for DSS Recruitment-2024
Applicants wishing to get employment with the Secret Service must:
Applicant’s chest measurement must not be less than 0.87 for men.
Must be physically and mentally fit
Not be less than 1.65 meters for female candidates and 1.69 meters for male candidates respectively
Two recent passport photographs, preferably with a color background
Candidates must not belong to any secret society, cult, or fraternity
Possess a valid certificate of state of origin, duly signed by the Local government authorities
Candidates will be shortlisted for a qualifying aptitude test
Applicants must be Nigerian Citizens by birth
Applicants must have a valid means of identification such as an International passport, National ID Card, Voters Card, Driving License
Applicants interested in the SSS recruitment must not be over 30 years old at the time of application
Applicants must be willing to work in a new environment
Computer literacy will be an added advantage
Possession of a B.Sc, HND, ND, or NCE certificate from a recognized institution
Present a valid birth certificate or an age declaration
All candidates must present O’level results (WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB)
Must not have been involved in any criminal activities in the past
Applicants must not have any of the following problems: communicable diseases, stammering, mental problems, sight problem, ear problem, or any physical disability. Must be physically and mentally sound. No tattoos or inscriptions on the body
Applicants must be creative

Higher qualifications, like a Degree or, Master’s,, are an added advantage
Must pass Tests and Exams
Must undergo intensive training (6 months of training)
