Expect Delayed Payment/Exit of 2016 to a permanent job is next –Sadiya

Expect Delayed Payment/Exit of 2016 to a permanent job is next– Sadiya: In a latest interview on NTA, the Minister expressed the real situation of the mystery behind payment delay and the Exit of 2016 to a permanent job. see http://myeduproject.com.ng/npower-permanency-movedrop-your-signature-as-bill-goes-next-reading

“Let me make it very clear, due to the processes involved, beneficiaries should expect delay in payment every month” “Next plan is to exit 2016 batch in to a permanent Job” – Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq, from the Nigerian Television Authority

The battered Hajiya Umar Sadiya Farouq blamed verification process in the ministry as the main cause of the delay, citing plenty of verification procedure that must be followed before payment is triggered

Beneficiaries of the programme must now know the reasons behind delays; beneficiaries should expect delay in payment every month. It is not a norm, the processes are just too cumbersome.

All measures MUST be adhered to before payment is made, which might intrude into the next month, thereby delaying payment, this is a situation I can’t help but monitor strictly. see http://myeduproject.com.ng/npower1500-volunteers-sacked-and-3-months-unpaid-stipend

Expect Delayed Payment/Exit of 2016 to a permanent job is next– Sadiya

In her correct and precise words, she said, “Let me make it very clear, due to the processes involved, beneficiaries should expect delay in payment every month”

This means that, beneficiaries should not be expectant at month end, rather wait till the middle of the previous month, before getting the earned stipend of the past month

Seemingly, she also said, some beneficiaries have not received their March stipend, let it  not troubles your heart, we are aware of that, kindly be patient as the ministry is currently working on it- the minister added. See http://myeduproject.com.ng/npower-see-the-rep-and-senator-in-favor-of-permanency-bill

In a twist of event, there may likely be permanency of Batch A, 2016 set, as the minister said, her next plan is to exit 2016 batch in to a permanent Job

We don’t know how long the covid-19 will last, but what we do know is that, after the pandemic, the exit of Batch A into a permanent job is our next plan, the minister added

Details of the speech  and video will be made known soon………………

Well read and understood but I want to beg that delay in payment should not be too much for people are facing hardship during this period of Covid19 lockdown. And on permanence, Honourable Minister ma, God shall strengthen your heart towards this. Thank you and God bless.

This is good development for 2016 beneficiaries after proper verification to absorb the beneficiaries into permanent job.
This will reduce the rate of unemployment in our country and disallow 2016 beneficiaries not to go back to street looking for green pasture/job opportunity.

Well,if that is the cause of the delay of payment I want to categorically say that there is no cause for alarm because from the inception of the program obsorption has been our earnest prayers reason being that many of us graduated from the the university five years and above roaming on the strict before npower came on board and after spending three years to disengage us and go back to the strict will be disastrous…
