Already, Afjp farmers in some states are being credited with amounts less than 20,000 naira, some farm sizes not too wide will be given N3000, other afjp farmers will receive less than N6000 as their fertilizer subsidy
This has brought to an end the rumor of N250, 000 to N50000 to be paid to afjp farmers, due to the N 6, 154,802,000 FG released to pay 1,209,143 afjp farmers
The Federal Government May has not given any directive on how the whopping sum N 6, 154,802,000 would be paid to 1,209,143 farmers across all the states including Abuja
“The disbursement will be in batches, starting with Batch A, covering 1,209,143 farmers, with a total subsidy of N6, 154,802,000. This will enable the farmer to source fertilizer in the open market.
Farmer’s under the Agriculture for Food and Jobs Plan (AFJP), will receive less than N20,000

- The list is split into two batches: 1st batch and Second batch
- The 1st Batch AFJP Farmers list of Shortlisted Candidate is out

- Farmers whose BVN has been validated by NIBSS will be credited directly to their bank account.
Payment processing begins this week as beneficiaries are been notified of ways to process their payment
