N-power 5 Months Backlogs: FG Awaits September Allocation-OAGF: The Federal Government still owes more than 14,000 Npower volunteers of Batch A and B five (5) months Backlogs stipends
This was confirmed by the Humanitarian Minister, in person of Umar Sadiya Farouq, these stipends span through the months of March to July, of 2020 from both batches

Unfortunately, the GIFMIS payment platform rejected a handful of volunteers, this problem has been solved but payment is yet to be made to the affected exited volunteers
The Government now awaits the disbursement of September Allocation among the three levels of government, which is happening any moment from now
In the time past, the office of the Accountant General of the Federation lags funds needed to carry out payment, due to delayed allocation
The Accountant General of the Federation is ready to make all outstanding Federal Government payment to workers including the stipends meant for Social Investment programme
The OAGF confirmed that, over 14,000 Npower volunteers have been rejected by GIFMIS payment platform, but has been resolved
It could be recalled, the Federal Government on confirmed receiving 52% of N682.060BN from August Allocation before Npower July stipends were paid to batch B volunteers
Due to inadequate fund, payment were not made, but now that, Federal Government has received Allocation for August, all is set for immediate disbursement of fund to where necessary
The Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total of N682.060 billion August 2020 federation account revenue to the Federal, States and Local Government Councils and agencies
And the government swung into action to pay Npower volunteers her July stipends without delay
If all go according to plan and September Allocation is shared within the week, all N-power outstanding backlogs will be paid- Office of the Accountant General of the Federation disclosed this
This will give way for the next plan of transiting disengaged Npower Volunteers into the Ministries Department s and Agencies (MDAs) as promised by the Humanitarian Minister- Sadiya Umar Farouq
