Born in 1973, Isabel dos Santos is an Angolan Business mogul, Africa’s most extravagant lady.
And she is also, one of Angola’s previous President José Eduardo dos Santos’ daughter, who controlled the nation from 1979 to 2017.
Forbes depicted how dos Santos obtained her riches by taking stakes in organizations working together in Angola, proposing that her riches comes for the most part from her family’s influence and associations.
In November 2015, the BBC named dos Santos as one of the 100 most persuasive ladies on the planet.
In 2013, as indicated by Forbes, her total assets had surpassed US$2 billion making her Africa’s first female ‘’US dollar very rich person’’
The Angolan Government has, since 2018, been attempting to prosecute Isabel dos Santos for past corruption criminalities that may have led to Angola’s ongoing recession, downturn and depression crisis.
In any case, she stays in a state of banishment in Portugal. On 30 December 2019, the Luanda Provincial Court requested the freezing of dos Santos’ Angolan bank account and the seizure of her stake in local companies, including Unitel and Banco de Fomento Angola.
Meanwhile, she is under scrutiny in Portugal and has since accepted the UAE as her official nation of habitation.
On 11 January 2020, the Angolan Government declared that is it setting up the fight in court for the appropriation of dos Santos’ advantages in Portugal, a procedure that is now in activity as letters rogatory sent to Portugal to prevent the exchange of assets from Portuguese Commercial Bank to a Russian bank……………….
