By mid-July, the move for permanency of volunteers will be discussed, our senators are now aware of our plight as volunteers
The bill on permanency, sponsored by Senator Lawal Gumau will be discussed, amid tension of disengaging volunteers

All volunteers are to get the attention of their senators in respect to this issue for massive support and passage.
Lately, there were threat from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development to disengage volunteers, a move that will endanger national security and social unrest
It is now crystal clear, the national Assemble is now aware of the plight of volunteers, it might be field day for volunteers come July as the matter is debated
Both the Reps and Senate have shown interest in npower matter, both houses have summoned the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development-Umar Sadiya Farouq on issues hindering the growth of the programme
Senator Lawal Gumau made another call on N-power Permanency Bill
Senator Lawal Gumau, representing Bauchi south senatorial districts, made another plea to the legislative arm of government to pass a bill to the national assembly for retaining N-power volunteers as permanent staff of the programme
Last time, the same Senator Lawal Gumau, made a call to the executive’s arm of government of the federal republic of Nigeria to send a bill to the national assembly for adoption and passing into law the creation of NSIP agency
Today, we now have the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development headed by Umar Sadiya Farouq
“Senator Lawal Gumau who is also the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Social Investments and Poverty Alleviation is suggesting to the Nigerian government to employ all the Npower beneficiaries into federal civil services in order to reduce the menace of high rates of unemployment among the teaming youths in the country”
Volunteers need all the help they could get from lawmakers and the society at large

Npower program has been the best ,if we talk of job creation and employment in Nigeria . In other to buttress this a little bit, I will say it has kept food on my tablet ; which other recruitment sites failed me, mostly when you don’t have any one that the upper level as they prefer giving jobs through slots.
I must say a greeting to the founder of the program (npower)and will also thank the house of Representative members and senators who asserted their time looking into our plight of permanency , and knowing truly well that npower is an ideology ,and it can be reaffirmed that their permanency will be a key note to restructuring and alleviating poverty in Nigeria. As I confirmed it not partial like other recruiting sites which I have tasted their salty stages. Always my prayers for the motion to be scaled through.
Npower is ubiquitous (we are everywhere) let me make it clear now , igbos ,hausas and Yorubas are in involved.

It is indeed a step in the right direction, as timely taken by our amiable representatives. I am heartily appealing to all our representatives to understand the plight of unemployed Nigerian graduates rooming the streets. I won’t be wrong to state that sending any batch of the npower volunteers back into the streets will further worsen the already deplorable state of security in our dear country. The recent unpleasant news regarding the disengagement of batch À npower volunteers really disheartened us.However, it has been refuted. But we would appreciate it and thank goodness should our representatives kindly come up with a bill that will give this lofty program the required legal backup. May the almighty God grant you the wisdom and divine insight to lead us well,as posterity shall speak in your favour. Thank you sir!Hope Abali.
This is the type of things we have been praying for. We need government that is going to consider the needy. Any government that is not considering the unemployed is still not doing the best. We then appreciate the effort of the said senator for the step he is taken by advises other bodies of Nigerian government to consider the Npower and permanent them. This will reduce poverty in the country at large.
Comment:If a bill for permanency is actually on,why should d issue of disengagement be announced even when it’s still going through stages and President had not assented it or not?
