Work is Ongoing at the Presidency on Exit Package- Chairman Gov Forum: The Chairman and head of the Nigerian Governor’s forum and the present executive governor of Ekiti state, Governor Dr. John Kayode Fayemi has raised hope of what the Federal Government is planning for all exited Npower volunteers

Kayode Fayemi in an interactive session with the youth in the state, disclosed that, the Federal government has concluded plans to transit volunteers into meaningful ventures with good packages

“According to a post by Kiri on the telegram channel of ‘The 36 States and FCT Npower Forum’, an interactive session between the Ekiti State Youths and Governor of the State Dr. John Kayode Fayemi was held on the 1st of November 2020
“And the Governor responded by saying that work is ongoing seriously at the presidency about the exit package, that they should expect it soonest”
There have been series of meeting between the office of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, headed by Sadiya Umar Farouq and the Federal Government on how to deliver the transition plan promised
There are plans by exited Npower volunteers to hit the city of Abuja on 12th, November, for demonstration to plead with the government to fastern transition plans prepared for them
However, the office of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, headed by Sadiya Umar Farouq has asked exited volunteers to wait as plans is on high gear to deliver transition
“Despite this, the exited beneficiaries are advised to exercise more patience and await the result of the efforts being made by the Honorable Minister who is currently engaging various MDAs including the CBN and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to ensure that the eligible exited beneficiaries are transited to government progammes or even employment where available.
