Many N-Power Volunteers across the country are not clear with the exit plan stated by the minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management Hajiya Umar Sadiya Farouq

Beneficiaries will be transitioned into Government Entrepreneurship Schemes and other Viable Private Sectors to boast the economy devasted by covid-19

Transitioning: No Volunteer will be Laid off-Umar Sadiya

The minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Ms. Umar Sadiya Farouq, said Federal Government is gradually transitioning volunteers to the next level to make provision for others.

The goal is to keep volunteers Npowered while positioning Nigeria at the core of the post covid-19 digital economy.

Responding to a question asked on NTA, the Minister hinted Government plan to transition volunteers without laying them off.

“As part of the transition process before eligible volunteers will be absorbed into government entrepreneurship schemes and engaging private sector bodies to absorb some of the beneficiaries, a compulsory completion of psychometric test would be done to determine competency and placement into various opportunities – Hajiya Sadiya Farouq disclosed.

The Federal Governemt  will be opening opportunities in the services and real sectors of the economy where all volunteers will be deployed.
