NYIF N12.5B Loan: Disbursement Update For 10,000 Trained Applicants
The Nigeria Youths Investment Funds (NYIF) program is massively conducting online zoom training to10,000 applicants, this online zoom training will span through 2021 and up to the wee months of 2022
The Ministry of Sport and Youth Development, headed by Mr. Sunday Dare, said those who have been trained and are dully certified, will in no distant time get their requested loan

If you have been trained, make it a duty to check your NYIF dashboard and your mail for further instruction on how to process your loan
All duly trained applicants are to check and upgrade their bank account to a limit that can accept the requested amount, if you are using an NYSC account, quickly take note

These 10,000 lucky applicants will in no distant time get trained and their loan request be granted, as the program will take a new set of applicants to come 2022
Loans are in the range of two hundred and fifty thousand (N250, 000) to three million naira (N3,000,000) for now.
Applicants are to Visit the NYIF portal nyif.nmfb.com.ng.
Provide your login details in the NYIF dashboard(Username and Password).
Then Click on Check Loan Status.
A dialog box will appear showing your loan status if approved or still pending.
NYIF FG Approves 7,000 Disqualifies 1,003
Recall that 10,000 applicants were shortlisted in the Nigeria Youths Investment Funds (NYIF) program, news emanating from the Ministry of Sport and Youth Development says only but 7,000 persons are qualified for the loan and over 1,000 were disqualified

Sports Minister, Sunday Dare confirmed this and gave clear cut reasons for this action, according to the minister:
10,000 Nigerians were shortlisted at the initial stage 10,000
Only 7,000 got FG approval 7,000
Over 1,000 were disqualified 1,000
while 721 were unqualified.721

The sports minister further refused in giving reasons for the above disqualification,
The Minister also noted that 6,050 applicants qualified for the NYIF while funds were disbursed to a total of 5,285 applicants.
Dare also claimed that over 6,000 youths have been qualified for the NYIF loan but only 5,285 were funded with cash, citing that, those who did not receive money were as a result of:
Wrong Biometric Verification Number (BVN) and the inability to pay into
Some Youths rejected the loans due to the interest attached to it
others have no need and use it
How To know If you are On the 7,000 Approved List
There is no need to panic on this since training has started going on
Once you receive the training invite via mail, you are good to go
It is worthy to mention that, training and mail invite are in batches
Only approved applicants will be invited even if you find your name in the previously shortlisted list
