NYIF N12.5B Fund: FG Approves 7,000 Disqualifies 1,003 ( Confirm Your Name in 7,000 New List)
Recall that 10,000 applicants were shortlisted in the Nigeria Youths Investment Funds (NYIF) program, news emanating from the Ministry of Sport and Youth Development says only but 7,000 persons are qualified for the loan and over 1,000 were disqualified

Sports Minister, Sunday Dare confirmed this and gave clear cut reasons for this action, according to the minister:
10,000 Nigerians were shortlisted at the initial stage= 10,000
Only 7,000 got FG approval 7,000
Over 1,000 were disqualified 1,000
while 721 were unqualified. 721

Unaccounted 997
The sports minister further refused in giving reasons for the above disqualification
The Minister also noted that 6,050 applicants qualified for the NYIF while funds were disbursed to a total of 5,285 applicants.

Dare also claimed that over 6,000 youths have been qualified for the NYIF loan but only 5,285 were funded with cash, citing that, those who did not receive money were as a result of:
Wrong Biometric Verification Number (BVN) and the inability to pay into
Some Youths rejected the loans due to the interest attached to it
others have no need and use it
How To know If you are On the 7,000 Approved List
There is no need to panic on this since training has started going on
Once you receive the training invite via mail, you are good to go
It is worthy to mention that, training and mail invite are in batches
Only approved applicants will be invited even if you find your name in the previously shortlisted list
