As we know, Madam is the first Minsiter to head the Ministry of Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development

Marriage is teamwork. And it requires both the partners to put in their individual efforts to make things work.

Just as you would want a ‘good husband’, your husband would want a good wife.

Modern, progressive women may have a tough time accepting the idea of a ‘good wife’.

But wait. Don’t jump to raging conclusions that being a good wife is about creating a stereotypical persona of a married woman. Because, it is not”

In this article, we will see how the newly married Umar Sadiya and her husband will Impact the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development

How will her marital life affect the Ministry which includes Npower?

Being supportive

Being head of the ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, Sadiya Need all the help she can get from a man with wealth of Experience in Militray or para-military settings

Her Husband, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, is a well experienced air chief, thus; giving Sadiya some level of Support to support her Ministerial positions

Being supportive in a marriage is not just about being there when the partner is having a difficult time.

It is about appreciating or praising him when he achieves a milestone, or when he overcomes his fear and tries something new.

Supporting is not always saying good things. It is also about offering constructive criticism to encourage her to improve in whatever he is doing.

Respect to the Nation and Her Ministry

When a woman marries, she becomes responsible, not just to her self, to the society at large.

As such, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development needs respect from a responsible married person to function effectivelly and effieciently

Respect to the Ministry means, putting the ministry above self interest, which is what the nation wants

Listening to the Plight of Others

Listening is critical for effective communication, and perhaps more important than talking.

The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, needs a head that listen to the plight of the people

Her marriage with a Security Chief will make a conscious effort not just to hear, but listen and understand the plights of those in the Npower programme, School feeding and the entire National Social Investment Programm

Honesty and Loyalty to the Ministry

Honesty is the base for a trust. Marriages that last are based on honesty and open communication, with no place for cheating or lying. The The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development is in dear need of this

Being truthful won’t always be easy. Sometimes your honesty might upset your husband and may even lead to fights.

But dishonesty can damage a relationship so much that the partners will have a tough time trusting each other again.

One lie or betrayal and your husband may always have a lingering doubt about your truthfulness.
