For clarity, the Abeg app is a fintech app, developed by Abeg Technologies, it was co-founded by Dare Adekoya Michael Okoh, and Muheez Akanni, in the year 2019. This app is flexible in payment and money transfer, one user can easily send money to another without difficulty.

All you have to do is create an account with your BVN using your verified phone number and then you top up your wallet and send money to your contact list who are on the Abeg app.

How to sign up on the Abeg app

Kindly follow all these steps;

Download the Abeg app to your phone via Google Play Store or Apple Store

Open the app and create an account

Enter your name, email, and phone number (BVN attached)

Input your Bank Verification Number (BVN)

Enter a password and wait for OTP

Input OTP and finalize registration

Now that you have registered, it is time for you to use the app features.

How to Send Money via Abeg

Kindly follow these steps:

Click on send on the home interface

Choose the amount you want to send

Enter the Abeg tag of the person the money is for, or you can use the contact option to choose the person contact

Now, click on the pay, it is worth knowing that you won’t be charged any fee, it’s free.

How to Request Money on Abeg and receive

As soon as you finish the registration process, you will be welcomed with a clean interface. This will show you simple ways to request and send money to other users in steps.

To request money on the Abeg app follow these:

Click on the Request button

Enter the amount (naira) you want to request from one of your contacts and include what you need the money for.

Now, click on Request

After that, choose from the list, the person you want to request from.

Finally request it.

How to Withdraw Money from your Abeg Wallet

To make a fast withdrawal into your main bank account, follow these;

Navigate to the profile page and click on wallet balance

Choose Withdraw from the pop-up list

And then enter the amount to withdraw and click withdraw

Do note that you will be charged N10 upon withdrawal, you also need to link your bank to be able to withdraw.

How to Fund your Abeg Wallet

Funding your Abeg wallet without having to ask a friend to send it to you is easy to do;

Go to your profile page, click on the wallet balance

Select Fund Wallet

You will find a bank account number assigned to you, you can pay into that account, then, get credited immediately.
