As mentioned earlier, it is possible to check your BVN online without having to use the USSD code. The best way is through your bank app.
All you have to do is log on to your bank app, as soon as you are logged you will see the BVN number by the menu bar.

To check your BVN details (Name, date of birth, phone number & others) you need to go to the bank with a copy of the BVN number you got by dialing the code *565*0#.
The reason is that you cannot check your BVN details with the use of the USSD code or by opening the Bank app.
