Applicants of the Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC) who have been successfully screened and are waiting for the next round of recruitment can now check their application status to see if they are qualified for the next round

Applicants are to note that:

• That the next stage of the recruitment process is a CBT Examination which will hold in Batches,
• That only Candidates that participated in the initial screening exercises and were adjudged qualified will write the CBT Exams,
• That the Candidates who qualify as such will be contacted directly either by SMS or their E-mail and not through any proxy,
• That only Candidates who received either an E-mail or SMS invitation for a particular date and time will be expected and attended to at the Exam center on that day,
  Consequent upon the above, we implore members of the public and in particular, those who participated in the initial exercises not to come to the venue on a date they are not scheduled to write the CBT as we will consider their presence a deliberate attempt to sabotage the sanctity of the process.

For clarity, the Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC) is a uniformed security agency established by a law of the Lagos State House of Assembly in 2016 to assist the Police and other security agencies to maintain law and order in the state. They operate in all 57 LGA/LCDA in Lagos.

The Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC) officers are indigenous locals from the various LGA/LCDA where they operate, which is a deliberate policy in order to make use of their local knowledge to achieve maximum grass root intelligence gathering and community policing.

Making available such relevant information on rimes, crimes in progress, suspicious activities, and crime suspects to the police or other security agencies that require it

Create Structure

Putting structure in place to ensure that hoodlums and cult groups do not have the opportunity to operate.

Routine Patrol

Undertaking routine motorized patrol day and night.

Reduce Crime Rate

Reducing the crime rate and ensuring that offenders are identified and made to account for their misdeeds.

Ensure Justice

Following up on the arrest of offenders to the court and ensuring justice.

Liaise with Other Security Agencies

Timely reporting of suspicious activities and crimes in progress to the police or other security agencies and improving the relationship between the police and the community as it concerns law enforcement.

Maintaining Peace and Order

Contributing to maintaining community peace.
