FMARD Disburses Over N1Billion to AFJP Enumerators, Small farmholders: The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development disclosed that it disbursed over a billion to AFJP enumerators, Small Farm holders that were affected by the covid-19 pandemic
Payments were made to AFJP Enumerators who carried out valid surveys on soil sample collection, Soil laboratory testing, and those who trained personnel (maters trainers)
These payments span from 2021 to 2022 and were made from the 5th to 9th tranches,
In the 5th trench spanning from June to July of 2022, over N500,000,000 were paid to 13,121 AFJP Enumerators as a 50% second installment
In the 6th trench, which span from August 2020 to January 2021, over N134,000,000 were paid to 7,515 AFJP Enumerators in another 50% second installment
In the 7th trench that span from March to December 2021, over N120,000,000 were paid to 4,413 AFJP Enumerators as a 50% First installment
The 9th batches saw a sharp decline in payment and numbers of AFJP Enumerators, over N3,000,000 were paid as 293 count
However, many questions and inquiries from AFJP Enumerators and farmers over the payment done in the 8th batches, which is the same as the 6th batch, where N79,725, 250 was paid, AFJP Enumerators and farmers claimed not have gotten paid for the 6th trench and demand a comprehensive explanation
Fmard reveals that only valid surveys were paid, enumerators should are advised to check their ODK app and confirm the total amount of valid surveys, if the 50% paid is not tantamount to the number of surveys (250 per survey), a complaint should be lodged via FMARD AFJP
Unpaid enumerators who participated in the dry and wet seasons of farming are to exercise some patience as payment will span through the month of August 2022
We advised all enumerators to Confirm the Number of their Unpaid Valid Surveys (If not sure) Through Fmard Contact Lines before filling out the Form.
