Benue State Civil Protection Guards Application Update 2025/2026: The Benue state civil protection guards is aimed at fighting insecurity in the state, Volunteer Guards will be required to police the state at the local level, and help the national or federal police to curb the state from attacks

5000 Volunteer Guards are needed in the first batch of recruitment, and a thousand will be employed in the subsequent batches and recruitment

Benue state governor Hyacinth Alia inaugurated Benue state civil protection guards on December 14th with 5,000 security personnel for the takeoff, he donated 100 Hilux vans, 600 combatant motorbikes

The goal is to decisively combat criminality and create an environment where our people can live, farm, work, and thrive without fear,” he said.

Launching the 5,000 gallant officers and donating 100 vehicles and 600 special combatant motorcycles is part of efforts to secure the state.

In the first batch of recruitment, personnel were taken from the 23 local government areas of the state, encompassing 5000 persons

The Second batch and subsequent batches will see thousands from across the23 local government areas of the state employed and deployed

Job Description-Benue State Community Volunteer Guards

Benue State Community Volunteer Guards will be required to;

Safeguarding lives and property

Fight against terrorists and criminals wreaking havoc in the state.

Strengthen the security architecture of the 23 LGA

Adopting various measures to sustain security in the state

Bush combing

Enforcing the anti-grazing laws

Residents’ registration, among others.

Registration of motorbikes and marketplaces

General Requirements
