“ALIA REMAINS THE BEST CHOICE FOR BENUE” – Agah

The Director General/Chief Trade Negotiator of the Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations (NOTN), His Excellency, Amb. Yonov Frederick Agah PhD, today at his Makurdi residence told Tsejir Mothers of Aduku, Gbemacha Council Ward of Mbaivur, Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State that only Father Alia had the requisite capacity, will and composure to be trusted in the forthcoming governorship election.

He stated this when the group paid him a solidarity visit to appreciate him for his leadership strides, as well as to strengthen ties between them.

Ambassador Agah commended them for finding time to identify with him, saying they should be encouraged by his humble beginning at RCM St. Anthony’s Primary School Aduku where his educational background was laid, and believe that their children could also have a sound career if they are properly nurtured and trained.

The former Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organization encourage them to queue behind the candidature of Rev. Father Alia who he said would be a listening leader and would be able to construct the Ikpayongo- Aduku -Adetsav Road and also electrify their settlements.

Earlier, the leader of Tsejir Mothers, Mrs. Evelyn Anjo said they were at the residence of their son Amb. Yonov Fred Agah to commend him for his contributions to society and for offering himself as a true servant leader. Mrs. Joy Mbachie said that the Tsejir Mothers came to Amb. Agah for direction, he (Agah) is the only person that will show them where to put their vote.

Speaking at the event, the immediate past Special Adviser to the Governor on Assembly Matters and former Gwer East State Assembly Member, Hon. Stephen Tyochir said the Gwer people, Benue and Nigeria at large were lucky to have a personality like Amb. Yonov Frederick Agah, whom he said was an internationally recognized figure whose pedigree was highly respected across the globe.

Tyochir, therefore, urged them to queue behind Agah whom he described as an emblem of true leadership, who was willing to sacrifice all for the good of the people of Yonov and Gwer Gwer East LGA in general.

Others who spoke at the event included the immediate past Deputy Chairman of Gwer East, Hon Austin Nemba, and Former Deputy Chairman & Acting Chairman, of Gwer East Council, Hon. Samuel Shanna, they all commended the women for their laudable initiative to identify with the Global Trade Expert and their leader/son, Amb. Yonov Fredrick Agah, they charged them to sustain the spirit and look up to Amb. Agah.

In her vote of thanks, the wife of the DG/CTN, Her Excellency Hon. Mbasaren Dorothy Agah, who is also the State Coordinator and Women Leader of the Tinubu Campaign Group (TCG) in Benue State appreciated the women for their show of love and promised to support them achieve their set goals in their association.

Others who graced the occasion were members of the Yonov Agah APC Youth Support Group (YAAS-G) and Hon. Nyamihye Joseph Agah, the younger brother of the Chief Trade Negotiator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Amb. Agah was dressed and armed traditionally by Tsejir Mothers. They also presented yams and a healthy she-goat to the Global Leader.
