774,000 NDE SPW Update | October/November/December Payment 2022: The Federal Government 774,000 National Directorate of Employment, Special Public Works (NDE, SPW), is aimed at employing 1000 persons from each of the 774 Local Governments across the nation

Payment for this work has not been punctual from this first day, this has made beneficiaries to be inquisitive about the program

Many beneficiaries have been asking a series of questions like;

When will NDE SPW pay the October stipend?

These set of questions are normal, especially if you are a beneficiary, you must understand that government programs and schemes are coated with delays, due to many reasons like due process, lack of funds and so on

The NDE SPW is no exception, the program encountered so many delays, just like the Npower batch C stream 1 & 2, NYIF, Conditional Cash Transfer (RRR), and many other FG programs

They are shrouded with delays but most certainly, they will be paid and work will continue, the NDE PW is very real and payment for October/November/December is in progress

FG has started the payment of the second tranche of N20,000 to NDE SPW beneficiaries of the program.

When this tranche is completed and participants have successfully received their payments then the next round/tranche of Special Public Works (SPW) payment will commence.

According to Mr. Festus Kayamo, the program coordinator, he said, FG has deposited N52 billion to fully continue the program. The money will be used to purchase equipment, payment of salaries and stipends, and other logistics

Also, the Honorable minister for Labour and Employment Mr. Festus Keyamo has advised all beneficiaries having issues with their banks can now access their money because the said issue(s) have been rectified.

While beneficiaries from Heritage and Zenith Bank complained that they are unable to be paid. We are confirming this because the bank has not met the minimum requirements for the SPW program.

The program coordinator has reassured all the beneficiaries, they will all get paid, this is because all the lingering issues have been solved and payment for the remaining months of 2022 will be paid to avoid being carried over to 2023

He advised beneficiaries to do their Bank Verification Number (BVN) and get their data captured or verified, and complete all the processes for SPW Payment to be possible.
