Batch A and B volunteers just received a text message from a concern NASS staff as regard to the Permanency Bill. According to him, even if the bill gets discussed, it will not see the light of the days as the presidency has given a “no going back in regard to disengagement”

The GIFMIS platform is currently paying all Nbuild volunteers, after which, volunteers of other categories will be credited. This will take less than 72hours to actualize
Batch A and B will start receiving June Stipends from next week, preferable by Tuesday, Rhoda Iliya added
This will be the last stipend paid to Batch A volunteers as they exit the programme, the Federal government is transitioning volunteers into a new level of partnership, whose details are not clear as we speak
Batch B will be eliminated same way by July ending, giving way for Batch C entrance
Currently, batch C recruitment is ongoing, and 400,000 volunteers will be onboarded, with the programme already streamlined, the status qua has changed, incoming volunteers will spend only but 12 months and less without devices

The federal govt. Has done well by stating clearly tha they wll not give batch C Device to clear their minds off it. But let them give batch B The promised devices. And a good exit package for A&B.
