Npower: FG Out rightly Debunked plans to Disengage 500,000 (Pictures): To clear the air regarding the rumours circulating on internet and in some newspaper that the Federal Government of Nigeria is set to Sack 500,000 N-Power beneficiaries across the country soon, Federal Government has debunked the rumor.

This was made known to some of the beneficiaries who contacted the Npower social media handlers to clarify them on the issue.
In responses to their double tweets, they got the reply below:
“We always make post here on such issues, but we haven’t made any post to that effect. Please disregard that information”
“There is no air to be cleared; the rumour is obviously not from us, since it did not emanate from any of our social media channels”.
“kindly disregard the rumour, the news clearly is not from us”
“The disengagement rumours which caused a serious tension among beneficiaries was released by GUARDIAN NEWS PAPER few days after April stipend was paid, with the headline “Nigeria to disengage 500,000 N-Power beneficiaries ‘soon.”

The data bank of the Npower beneficiaries is undergoing reconciliation, and after which affected, volunteers will be settled according, Afolabi assured unpaid volunteers
