The National Social Investment Management System programme (NASIM) is pleased to announce to the general public the shortlisting of Npower Batch C successful applicants
“Hi there, thank you for applying to be a beneficiary of N-POWER Batch C programme. We are looking through the list of applicants and it might take a while. If you qualify to move on the next stage, we will reach out to you.”
Capturing of applicants’ Finger Prints has also commenced on the portal by applicants who have passed the “online screening Test” phase of the enrolment processes. Applicants can update their finger prints by clicking on “Verification.”
This message congratulating the successful N-Power Batch C applicants, is coming just after the minister Honorable Sadiya Umar Farouq, told the press that the N-Power Batch C shortlisting process is at the concluding stage
“Now, we have moved to the N-Power Batch C. Currently, the Ministry is about concluding the enrollment of 1,000,000 N-Power Batch-C applicants in two streams of 500,000 N-Power Batch C beneficiaries in the first instance and another 500,000 N-Power Batch C beneficiaries later.
“For the N-Power Batch A and B, as you are aware, they have exited and they have been put into programme in partnership with the Central Bank of Nigeria for them to be engaged in meaningful employment or trade.
N-Power Batch C Volunteers can use their smart phones or other mobile devices that has the fingerprint sensor feature to capture their fingerprint
More than 5 million N-power Batch C applicants have taken their pre-selection assessment CBT test, only 500,000 thousand will scale through the Physical Verification, Final Selection & Deployment, a source from NSIP reveals
There are plans to onboard and deploy another 500,000 as Batch D, as promised by the presidency. Last year, the president, Mr. Buhari ordered that the number of Npower batch C volunteers should be doubled to One Million

But this one million will come in two tranches, Batch C and D, with which batch having 500,000 volunteers each and will spend six months at minimum and one year at maximum
N-power Batch C: Verification, Selection, Onboarding & Deployment Will Be Stringent-NASIM
Physical Verification
After the test, another list of successful applicants will be selected and released for Physical Verification, and by Physical Verification, it means all the lucky pre-selected applicants now volunteers will avail themselves physically for verification
The preselected list encompasses 500,000 applicants of which less than that, will scale through after the final selection. This is for the Batch C, the first tranche of the One million applicants
The final selection will follow immediately after the physical verification at all Local Government Areas of the country including the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
Requirements for Physical Verification
All documents presented during registration will be scrutinized, any applicants found wanting will be disqualified at this stage and replaced subsequently
- Higher Educational Certificate like Degree, NCE, OND, MSC both statement of result and original
- Valid means of Identification like Voter’s card, National Identification Card, Driving License etc
- Print out of Bank Verification Number
- Certificate of State of Origin
- Birth Certificate or an affidavit from the court of law
- 2 recent passports photograph
- Your mobile phone number used during verification
It is worthy to mention that, the pre-selection and final selection of all the applicants are done with transparency and openness. No individual or group can influence the procedure
Applicants are advised to disregard rumor or sms from authorized source, as some fraudulent persons are already calling and texting applicants
Final Selection
All applicants who met all the Requirements during Physical Verification will see their names shortlisted at the final list, which will be based on merit
To Check the Final selected list, applicants must present their mobile phone number used during registration and Bank Verification Number, login
Successful applicants must as a matter of urgency Prepare and get ready the following documents for physical verification, any applicants who is found not having the complete documents or requirements will be disqualified
On-boarding and Deployment of Volunteers
All the successful volunteers will be on-boarded in a new NPVN portal, deployment letters will be issued. All deployment letters shall be taken to PPAs as directed by states NSIP
The programme will last for only one year for Nteach volunteers, other categories will span trough for six months
After which, batch C volunteers will be disengaged in to the platform called NEXIT- A CBN Loan affiliates programme, where disengaged volunteers will be given soft loans to proceed with their life ambitions
No one knows the amount to be given as of now, what we do know is that, the Federal Government through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development in partnership with the Central Bank of Nigeria has opened a portal for all batch A and B volunteers interested in loan to identify themselves
“A Portal that will enable Exited N-Power Beneficiaries to apply for Central Bank of Nigeria Empowerment Options has been launched by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development”
“The platform which was developed in collaboration with the CBN will enable Exited N-Power Beneficiaries to log on and apply for the various Economic, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship options provided by the CBN”
“The NEXIT portal is to determine the suitability of the beneficiaries for the CBN affiliated programs and is dependent on meeting the criteria and conditions set by the CBN for the said programs”
“The Minister also emphasized that the NEXIT PORTAL will determine the suitability of the beneficiaries for the CBN affiliated programs”
