Job Position:
Silo Attendant (Cement Industry).

Duties & Responsibilities:
*He will be expected to monitor pressure dials on pump to indicate operating condition of conveyor to ensure proper functioning.
*He will Make minor repairs to the stationary pump to correct faulty operation and, oil and grease equipment’s.
*He will have to monitor indicator level of silos to ensure that it is not filled beyond capacity.
*He will be in operation of the stationary pump in pneumatic conveyor system that conveys finished cement from one bin to another.
*He will be operate pump, air compressor, and other conveying equipment in line with agreed operating procedures.
*He must ensure safety of personnel by executing silo operations in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Qualification:
- Applicant should possess the Trade Test 1,2,3
- Applicant should be in possession of SSCE with minimum of ten (10) years relevant work experience.
Skills & Competencies:
*Applicant should have a basic knowledge of cement production process.
*Applicant should have a working knowledge of the cement packing machines/ functions and procedures
*Must have the ability to pay attention to details
*Applicant should have a good relationship management skills
