The Nigerian Army is responsible for peace and security in the state and on the national and international territory. It is the largest component of the Nigerian armed forces, and responsible for land war operations.

Documents Needed for Nigerian Army Online Registration

Applicant must have the following:

1. Copy of  your First School Leaving Certificate

2. A recent Passport photograph

3. Copy of your WAEC/NABTEB/NECO/GCE Results not more than 2 sittingsz

5. Copy of your Birth Certificate / Declaration of age.

4. Copy of your NCE/ND/Trade Test/ RN (optional)

Nigeria Army Recruitment General Requirements

Does anyone aspire to be a soldier? Intrigued by the education path so that you can become a soldier? Surely it is not easy to be able to join as a member of the armed force. Apart from needing strong physicality candidates must also be smart, courageous, disciplined, and agile.

Below are the general requirements:

• Applicant(i.e non-tradesmen/women) must be between the age of 18 – 22 years 18 – 26 for the tradesmen/women
• For those applying for Tradesmen/women, you  must be in possession OND/Trades Test/City and Guild Certificate.
• Applicant must be in possession of a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. Of which, One of the credits must be in the English Language.
• Applicants must be a citizen of  Nigerian by birth and must possess a National Identity Card.
• Applicants must not be less than 1.68 meters and 1.62 meters tall for both male and female candidates respectively.
• You must have the knowledge of additional Nigerian language other than the mother tongue, which will serve as an added advantage.

Note: The physical requirements that will be tested have different criteria for women and men.

NOTE: All documents will be verified from the appropriate issuing authority. All those with fake documents will be handed over to the police for prosecution.

How to Apply For The Nigerian Army Recruitment

When carrying out the application process, it is advice able to fill it with caution to avoid entering the wrong information and being deprived of the selection. Below are steps to follow:

• Applicants must use a valid and active email address to register
• Visit www.recruitment.army.mil.ng or www.naportal.com.ng where you then Login with email id and password
• After you must have login, fill NA recruitment form online and complete it, then take system generated form
• New user need to register with the website
• You are required to visit the designated exam venue and recruitment centers with original and attested documents.
