We paid all Batch A&B April Stipend: May is Being Processed- Sadiy Umar: Umar Sadiya Farouq, the head of the Npower programme and the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has boasted to have paid all April’s stipends to npower beneficiaries
“I made a promise to pay all npower enrollees their April stipends last week and I have fulfill them, next is to reform the programme for greater efficiency and effectiveness, Sadiya added”

Sadiya Umar, the honorable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, admit having developed challenges with the GIFMIS platform, hence the delay
“We encountered some delays on the GIFMIS platform, but I can now announce that all N-Power beneficiaries from Batch A and B have been paid their April stipends.”
She always said, the npower programme will be streamlined to avail the opportunity for more youths to be captured in the programme
Streamlining new entrant
“We are working hard to streamline the programme for greater efficiency and to provide opportunities for more Nigerian youths. Details will be provided as soon as May stipend has been paid.”

No one knows what the Month of June holds for Batch A npower beneficiaries, according to Punch Newspaper, “The ministry said the Batch A beneficiaries were denying other Nigerians an opportunity to access the programme and gain skills for entrepreneurship and employment”
If they will be exited come June, it should be done with exit package or something good, as the world can not afford to layoff 200,000 volunteers on the street in this covid-19 outbreak
Apparently, batch A have overstayed their welcome, enjoyed more grace of being paid stipends, with devices.
But more Nigerian youths need to be onboarded to alleviate poverty at large, in line with the president vision of lifting 100 million people out of poverty by creating opportunities to enhance the productivity of the Nigerian youth
