All those beneficiaries affected will be paid as soon as April’s payment commence, the statement added

Some NPower volunteers struggle to understand the description of the ongoing payment of NPower March stipends.
Some of them are wondering whether the payment is the cash transfer palliative payment from the government because the payment receipt payer description state Feder unlike the previous payment which state NPower as the payer.
Npower: We are Sorry for Delay in payment of March Stipends-Afolabi
It could be recalled, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, promised to pay stipends and the National Homegrown School Feeding Programme (NHSFP) using the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS)
Government Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) is a well-designed government platform that seeks to facilitates payment of any kind smoothly and faster
Aimed at enhancing accountability and transparency in public monetary administration, GIFMIS now replaces REMITA and NEFT, which is National Electronic Funds Transfer, which is processed via NIBSS, which is an old style compounded with delays and strenuous processes
It is not just safe but suits a massive programme like n-power, where the number of beneficiary is half of a million and the National Homegrown School Feeding Programme (NHSFP). see http://myeduproject.com.ng/npower-permanency-movedrop-your-signature-as-bill-goes-next-reading
The Government Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) had all of these sorted out, henceforth, there will be more rapid payment system in the National Homegrown School Feeding Programme (NHSFP) and the N-power- Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq added
The February payment is from NEFT, which is national electronic funds transfer, which is processed via NIBSS, Nigerian interbank settlement system. It’s just difference in payment platforms.
The government covid-19 palliative cash is not up to that amount. However, time will tell if there is going to be any palliative payment for NPower volunteers.
