Npower Stipend: Payment will commence within the Week

Npower Stipend: Payment will commence within the Week: The much awaited npower stipends for both March and April will be paid within the week. See http://myeduproject.com.ng/npower-complete-the-ongoing-validation-survey-fmard

It could be recalled, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development had warned all volunteers to expect delay in payment

The last two months (February and March) were paid at the middle of the next month, making it a norm and culture in terms of paying time. See http://myeduproject.com.ng/npower-permanency-movedrop-your-signature-as-bill-goes-next-reading

The minister had maintained a strong view on this, thus; all volunteers should be consistent with the new trend of stipend payment

She however, blamed verification processes and procedures, which must be followed before volunteers can see their alert. See http://myeduproject.com.ng/npower-batch-a-permanency-top-eight-8-things-volunteers-must-know

In her words; we can just release funds worth billions of naira with a sheet of paper as document, we must account for all we do, so as to be justified by the law, when called upon.

All processes and procedures must be followed and adhered to; screening of volunteers via NIBSS must be carried out, focal Point officers must give their reports

Fund approval must come from the office of Finance Minister, and must be signed by the accountant General of the Federation. These procedures and processes are accountable and transparent for all to see

All payment will commence within the week, preferable from 14th to 15th, all those who were not paid in the month of March will be paid, the minister once assured
