Npower Mega Protest on December 7th Should be Ignored: Sequel to the rumor going round the social media on the purported mega protest on the 7th of December 2020, the Npower States Representatives and Executives have not issued any notice to this effect

All information not emanating from states representatives should be ignored and treated with disdain, the state reps and executives have encouraged all volunteers to be patient with the federal government

Lately, the Federal Government through the office of the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has commenced the transitioning of volunteers into CBN intervention programmes that will keep volunteers at work and provide them with meaningful ventures

The Federal Government on Friday, 27th of November, 2020, through the office of the Umar Sadiya, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development dished out plans on how exited volunteers disengaged since June 2020 would be managed

“A Portal that will enable Exited N-Power Beneficiaries to apply for Central Bank of Nigeria Empowerment Options has been launched by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development

See N-Exit Web Portal: Massive Upgrade and Maintenance Ongoing

The platform which was developed in collaboration with the CBN will enable Exited N-Power Beneficiaries to log on and apply for the various Economic, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship options provided by the CBN”

The NEXIT portal is to determine the suitability of the beneficiaries for the CBN affiliated programs and is dependent on meeting the criteria and conditions set by the CBN for the said programs”

Any one calling for protest is not true to his/her self as the federal government is already doing more than enough to address the plight of volunteers exited

The buhari administration has methodically addressed unemployment and youth restiveness in the country, not government in recorded history of this nation has methodically addressed unemployment like the present administration, lai Mohammed revealed

Until the States reps and executives give order and directive, all volunteers are to ignore rumors on protest
