Npower Batch C Will Not Get Devices/Stipends Will Be Paid Via GIFMIS-NASIMS: The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), has started cleared that batch C applicants will not be given devices in the course of their in the programme

This is the same scenario with batch b of the Npower programme, devices were not given to batch b volunteers of over 300,000 volunteers. Only batch A applicants were given devices

 Payment of Stipend for batch C1 will be captured by GIFMIS

 It was noted that batch C will be paid via GIFMIS platform and not REMITA, this was the same platform that flags the accounts of more than 14200 batch A and B volunteers, adequate measure will be put in place to checkmate future reoccurrence

After clarification from the Minister of Finance and DG Budget who confirmed the receipt of the list of all the 500,000 on GIFMIS, it was concluded that FG will pay stipends as at when due

 Timely Payment of Batch C stipend

 The FG presented a budget of about 500 Billion for 2021 Npower batch C programme

 The Minister of finance was mandated to make sure the money is available in the supplementary budget including arrears of those yet to be paid 2020.
