Samuel Orukali in his statement said, both Ahmed Lawan and Femi Gbajabiamila has failed pursue the plight of N-power disengaged volunteers, accusing them of total neglect and relaxed on the plight of volunteers

In his precise statement, Samuel wrote “@SPNigeria, @femigbaja, so both of you are in this country and refused to say anything concerning the plight of Npower beneficiaries batch A and B, @Npower_Reps, but you reacted so soon against the call for restructuring. What a pity! How will the cost of goods affect you?”

At one time, the GIFMIS platform failed to pay thousands of N-power volunteers for five(5) months, from Feb to July 2020, the official numbers recognized by Humanitarian Ministry

The Humanitarian Ministry claimed only 14200 were affected, but situation on ground tells a different story

Till now, not all the 14,200 owed volunteers have been paid, over 9000 unpaid volunteers have been cleared, their bank statements have been verified

Batch A and B disengaged volunteers are still waiting for promised Nexit CBN loan, not much has been said about it, Samuel added

“The exited N-Power batches A and B beneficiaries continue to express their dismay at the inaction of the Nigerian National Assembly in respect of the owed stipends of exited beneficiaries and the delayed implementation of the NEXIT by the Federal Ministry of the Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development”- AllNews
