Link to Apply Katsina State Education Scholarship 2023 | ktssb.org.ng: The Katsina State Scholarship Board is calling on students and Nigerians to apply for its scholarship scheme. This is to inform the general public and the good people of Katsina state, of the sale of forms to register for the 2021/2022 scholarship year
Suitable and interested applicants are to obtain their application form, one-time application, and non-refundable fee of One thousand one hundred naira (N1,100 ) at the state board’s website (ktssb).
About Katsina State Education Scholarship Board
Katsina State is the home state of President Mohammadu Burhari, it is located in the North West geopolitical zone of the country, and the state is peaceful and blessed with both human and natural endowment
The Katsina State Education Scholarship Board popularly called the Katsina state Scholarship Trust Fund came into was established in 1988 to help katsina state indigenes acquire decent education that is well funded
The mean aim of the board is to help eligible students of State origin pursue post-secondary school courses in various higher institutions across the country.
The Scholarship Trust Fund as presently constituted has a Board of Trustees which consists of:-
A part-time Chairman
Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education
Permanent Secretary Department of Establishment and Training
Permanent Secretary Ministry of Finance
Special Adviser Department of Higher Education
Seven members each from the former seven Local Government Areas in the State
Director General
The Trust Fund has three Departments namely
Admin Department
Finance and Account Department
Operations Department
All the Departments were headed by a Director. The Admin Department oversees the day-to-day affairs of the Trust Fund.
The Finance and accounts take care of the financial transactions of the Trust Fund including the stock market investments.
The operations department is concerned with all the issues relating to scholarship awards to students.
