How to Convert Your Vehicles to Autogas | 36 States Conversion Centres: Due to an increase in the price of PMS, FG has begun training technicians on how to convert their vehicles to autogas, your vehicle can now be powered by gas, yes you heard me, gas can run your vehicle, replacing Premium Motor Spirit (PMS)
If you are one of those who cannot afford the rising cost of fuel in the country, there is good news for you, all you have to do is to locate any of the FG conversion centers and have your vehicle run on gas
As we all know, NLG or CNG is affordable and it last long on vehicles far better than fuel (PMS); just like your cooking gas at home, with N3,000, you can refill 5kg cooking gas for a month, or depending on the usage
If you want to acquire skills relating to this, all you need to do is to locate the training center in your state and learn. Learning or training is entirely free of charge; this is an FG-sponsored program across Nigeria
The good news is that the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), has built workshops across the country to help Nigerians convert their petrol-powered vehicles to autogas.
According to NITT, “We have sensitized relevant stakeholders across the country at different fora on the need for Nigerians to migrate from the use of PMS to gas.
“Gas is very cheap than petrol, it is also cleaner and convenient; Nigerians will be able to save a lot of money when they convert their vehicles from petrol to autogas.
“The cost of transport will come down drastically because the money required to refill a tank using an autogas will be 40 percent lower than the money required filling a tank using petrol,”
