How to Apply for FMYSD 60-Day App Development Challenge 2023: When you apply for the FMYSD 60-Day App Development programme, you will be engaged in designing a mobile application to improve a range of processes and increase the level of accessibility to services available to the citizenry.

For clarity, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in partnership with the Bank of Industry invites Nigerian youth to participate in the second National Sixty-Day App Development

With over 2.7 billion smartphone users across the world, it’s no surprise that the mobile app industry is thriving.

App usage and smartphone penetration are still growing at a steady rate, without any signs of slowing down in the foreseeable future.

This is encouraging news for anyone who owns an app or plans on developing one.

This is why the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has decided to encourage our youth through the initiative titled ‘Sixty-Day App Challenge’

Programme Areas

Apps entered for the challenge must solve a problem within the shortlisted sectors.

Agric-tech

Edu-tech

Fintech

Health

Sports

Telecommunications

Rewards

10 Grand Prizes N1 million each

Business Development Training

Laptops

50 FMYSD Participation Certificates

Launch & Completion Dates

The Challenge commenced on Monday the 9th of January 2023. Entry Submissions close on the 10th of March 2023.
