“The Federal Government has announced continued payment of stipends to N-Power 2016 Batch A beneficiaries and Npower 2018 Batch B beyond the expiry month of June/July 2020.
“A statement issued by Miss Ramatu Umar Senior Special Assistant to the Humanitarian and Disaster Minister on Media and Publicity, on Thursday in Abuja, said funding for the continued payments is contained in the 2021 budget.
“The Senior Special Assistant to the Humanitarian and Disaster Minister on Media and Publicity said, the Federal Government is exploring options to seamlessly move the beneficiaries from the government job programme to positions where they were able to earn a sustainable income.
