Breaking! N-power Batch A & B volunteers without Devices Must See This: It is no longer news that all the 300,000 Npower volunteers of Batch B and A handful of volunteers from batch A, are yet to get their promised devices
While most of batch A volunteers were given their devices, the story was not so to the batch B volunteers who came second only after batch A
In 2016, the Federal Government laid out a blueprint for the Npower programme, 30,000 naira was to be given to each volunteer, and a device to aid learning and job performance was to be given to each volunteer as well
This promise was shot changed as only a handful of Batch A volunteers got theirs, living over 70% of both Batch A and B without the promised devices
Things became worst as the Humanitarian minister, Umar Sadiya Farouq became less interested in the affair of Batch A and B, thus disengaging the both batches with devices
I am yet to understanding what the Npower programme is all about- Umar Sadiya statement six months after declared as the Humanitarian Minister
The Fact is that, there will be no devices for both the Batch A and B, all volunteers are to note this. Umar Sadiya has not said anything, and there is no provision for devices in any plan of the programme this year
The worst part of it is that, there will be no devices for the incoming batch C volunteers.
The best part of it is that, a CBN loan programme will be rolled out, soft loans of up to a million naira will be dished out to interested volunteers of Batch A and B, and the subsequent batch C volunteers also
No one knows if this loan will attract interest, but all we know is that, CBN will disburse loan to all volunteers sooner
