Since the ministry became one year in existence, its has shown it numerous achievements via TV Programmes and documentaries
Part of its achievements and prospect will be aired live on NTA and TVC, the absorption of volunteers might be discussed, more light will be shed on Transiting volunteers into the much mentioned “Absorption”
“A 2-part documentary showcasing the activities and achievements of the @FMHDSD to mark its first-year anniversary will air 1st – 2nd September 2020 on NTA at 8:00pm – 8:30pm.
And on TVC, 2nd – 3rd September 2020 at 9:00pm – 9:30pm, the ministry urged all interested members of the public to stay Kindly tune in.
On Thursday, Sadiya directed all exited volunteers interested in Transition to updates their details via their Focal officers nationwide
This is coming at a time, when exited volunteers are using massive protests and revolt to discredit the action of the Federal Government.
Sadiya’s precise words regarding absorption; “The exited beneficiaries are advised to exercise more patience and await the result of the efforts being made by the Honorable Minister who is currently engaging various MDAs including the CBN and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to ensure that the eligible exited beneficiaries are transited to government progammes or even employment where available

But source made it known that, all plans had been concluded and will be communicated during the 1st October Speech by the President
More Patience are to be exercised to successfully delivers Volunteers into MDAs, Sadiya Umar Farouq blamed improper arrangement at the commencement of the programme to place exited volunteers after two years by the Ministry
She said, “this is corroborated by the fact that when the N-Power programme was transferred to the ministry late last year, there was no plan for either automatic employment into public service or private sector or for transition to entrepreneurship put in place for them before the takeover by the Ministry”
Much will be said on transition of exited volunteers along side the activities of the entire ministry

If there is no proper arrangement put in place for transition, federal government should not exit batch A&B pending the necessary arrangement for transition.
