If You Were Not Shortlisted in FFS List of Candidates, Here is What to DO; The shortlisting process for the Federal Fire Service recruitment is ongoing, if you have not been shortlisted, don’t panic; here is something you should do as the next stage of the recruitment begins

If you have not checked your shortlisting status, to confirm your names, you can do that here, log in to the FFS official portal and supply your application code and registered phone number

If it displayed your name, congratulations, start preparing for screening and psychometric evaluation, which is a compulsory test for all successfully shortlisted candidates

This will happen starting from the 25^th, 26^th, and 27^th of September 2024, any shortlisted candidate who fails to attend will be immediately replaced

However, not all applicants will see their names, this is the reason, the supplementary list was designed to accommodate more names not earlier shortlisted, so if your name is not in the first batch, you can check the supplementary list here

If after checking both lists you cannot find your names and that of your friends, family, and relatives, don’t panic, here is what to do;

1. Keep checking the FFS web portal, this is because, there is a glitch in traffic, and many names are not displaying for now. You can visit the portal in the morning and evening and check
2. According to FFS, more Compass 4, 5, and 8 are still uploading. More names will be added before the screening and psychometric evaluation
3. More so, the recruitment is entirely free, don’t give any FFS official your hard-earned money at this time to influence the shortlisting process, such an official is a money monger and has no influence
4. Federal Character was imbedded in the recruitment processes, meaning all sections (LGA) of the nation represented
5. If you have a strong connection, it is time to remind them
6. If you could not find your name at the end of the recruitment process, please apply next time. The next application is scheduled here
7. Don’t feel sad about the whole situation, this is because; over 40,000 applications were received, with only 1,500 available positions. You and I know not all applications will scale through
