Dr. Betta Edu the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation disclosed that a thorough clean-up and verification of all beneficiaries is currently ongoing and only beneficiaries dully registered will be paid by January 2024

This is coming at a time when the number of enrollees in the program is more than the expected number registered by the government, she alleged that some beneficiaries’ tenures are over and others were not supposed to be in the payroll, a thorough verification is going to get the real number of beneficiaries

“the records of the enrolled Npower beneficiaries are under review because the people who were enrolled are more than what is expected. As a result of that, thorough verification is being conducted to clean unqualified beneficiaries from the system before payment commences in January 2024.”- Dr. Betta Edu the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation

More so, the npower program is now rebranded to Renewed Hope Skills Acquisition Program, this is to accommodate more beneficiaries ravaged by Poverty in the country

Meaning by the wee month of 2024, more beneficiaries will be enrolled in the Renewed Hope Skills Acquisition Program

Before then, all backlogs would have been cleared, that is when the Npower batch C2 beneficiaries will end officially and the portal will be opened to register fresher
