2021 CHEVENING Essay Competition for Undergraduates-Apply Here: The CHEVENING Essay Competition is meant to serve as a community service endeavors for all the young students in Nigeria, it has been founded by the Chevening Alumni Programme Fund (CAPF) since its existence.
The Association is made up of profesionals who have benefitted from the Scholarship Programme for Post-Graduate Studies in various disciplines in the UK.
The Essay is meant to educate the young people on issues of illegal migraton and preventing it’s occurance. This article is made to give you all the information you need about the CHEVENING Essay Competition 2021.

2021 CHEVENING Essay Competition for Undergraduates: Objectives
- The Essay competition is meant to generate ideas that will be helpful for CAAN future engagement with the private sector, the Nigerian government and multilateral agencies on curbing illegal migration.
- It will help foster deeper learning through interactions between CAAN members and the younger generations.
- The Essay will encourage young Nigerians to be involved on issues that concerns core trans-national governance, ahead of future leadership roles.
2021 CHEVENING Essay Competition for Undergraduates: Eligibility:
All candidates must be an undergraduate student in Nigerian public and private universities and in other tertiary institutions of learning.

2021 CHEVENING Essay Competition for Undergraduates: Essay Guidelines
- Essay must not be more than 2000 words, including the references
- Must be original, as essay will be subjected to credit reference checks.
- The Essay must be typed and double-spaced.
- Candidates must be aware of the appropriate use of examples and illustrations
- Use of Comprehensive prose.
Scholarship Prices
- 1st Place prize: A Laptop and 1-month Data subscription.
- 2nd Place Prize: A Tablet and 1-month Data subscription.
- 3rd Place prize: A Smart Phone and 1-month Data subscription.
Note: All prize winners will receive a Certificate of Good Performance for other reference.
