Volunteer Opportunities: We’re Verifying Details on Nexit Loan Disbursement-Npower: The Npower official and verified Facebook handle has clarified the issues delaying the Npower CBN loan disbursement plan of the Federal Government regarding disengaged volunteers
In response to a question raised by an aggrieved volunteer regarding the purported plan and intention of the CBN Loan Programme not going on as expected. The Npower official and verified Facebook handle, the mouthpiece of the Humanitarian Ministry, made it clear, verification of volunteers’ details is causing the delay, not until the whole process is completed, the loan will not be disbursed
There are over 500,000 disengaged volunteers in the face, and only a handful of staff at the npower situation room is sorting data and details, when the whole process is completed, volunteers opportunities in the loan programme would be materialised
ON RUMOR REGARDING THE AMOUNT TO BE SHARED SANEF AGENT
Rumor circulating round the corner instigating fake report on the amount of money to be given to Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility (SANEF) aka POS Agents has been debunked by the Humanitarian Minister
Lately, the Federal Government has promised to engage 200, 000 Npower volunteers as financial services operators under the Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility (SANEF), anchored by the Central Bank of Nigeria
This plan is aimed at giving volunteers permanent appointment as financial service Operators and consultant in small areas
The Humanitarian Minister in person of Umar Sadiya Farouq has refuted the claims and reaffirmed the Federal Government position to disburse adequate funds for the commencement of the Nexit CBN loan programme
Fund has been budgeted and in due time, each volunteer would get a minimum of 300,000 depending on the businesses, disbursement would starts, the statement added
N-Power beneficiaries who have concluded the two-year job programme will now be able to access permanent job opportunities or business prospects in line with the N-power exit strategy, the Nigerian presidency announced
While the Batch B volunteers of 30,000 volunteers will be used as Agro enumerators
“200,000 beneficiaries will be engaged as financial services operators under a Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility (SANEF) scheme operated by the Central Bank of Nigeria under the plan”
“30,000 beneficiaries have been engaged as geospatial experts and enumerators in the Economic Sustainability Plan’s Mass Agric programme.
Others will have the option of benefiting from the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) micro-enterprise loans”
