Nigeria Customs Service Recruitment 2021: Final List of 3,200 Successful Applicants & Training Update
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) is pleased to announce to the public final conclusion of the 2019 recruitment exercise, to this end, the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) will, in no distant time-release the final list of applicants for Camp training
The List of successful applicants have undergone final checks and balances, and will only be released after the promotion of over 2,900 officers of the service

However, the Board of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has finished promoting the 2,900 Customs Officers on the 4th of October all that is left, is the release of the 3,200 intakes of the 2019 recruitment exercise
All applicants are to be ready for camp training, notice regarding this will come within the month of October 6, 2021 All requirements for the camp training and documentation will be released in due time
Money has already been budgeted for the camp training exercise, over N1.152Billion will be used for feeding 3,200 applicants, each applicant will be fed to the tune of N2, 000 daily
6.4million will be used to feed 3,200 applicants, this is tantamount to N196Million per month for the 3,200 applicants

The Custom Training College in Ikeja Lagos is undergoing repairs and maintenance for the 6 months training

NCS Gets 4 DCGs, 11 ACGs, Promotes other 2,722 Customs Officer
The Board of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has approved the appointment of four Deputy Comptroller Generals and eleven (11) Assistant Comptroller Generals as well as the promotion of 2,707 senior officers to various ranks with effect from 1st January 2020.
A breakdown of the appointments includes:

* DCG Elton Edorhe
* DCG Katherine Ekekezie
* ACG Hamza Gumi
* ACG Mohammed Abba-Kura
* ACG Saidu Galadima
* ACG Gimba Umar
* ACG Obi Ekwealor
* ACG Bede Anyanwu
*ACG Mohammed Uba Garba
* ACG Kayode Olusemire
* ACG Lena Oyama
* ACG Florence Inuk
* ACG Lami Wushishi
Some of the newly promoted Comptrollers are the Customs National PRO Joseph Attah, Babajide Adeniyi, Anthony Udeze, Suleiman Chiroma among others.

The full statistics of the board approval are as follows: DCGs 4, ACGs: 11, DC-CC=35, AC-DC=64, CSC-AC=118, SC-CSC=244, DSC-SC=339, ASC I-DSC=995, ASC II-ASCI=655, and IC-ASC II=257. Of the 2,707 senior officers promoted 204 are support staff.
The Comptroller General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd) congratulated the newly appointed and promoted Officers. He further charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.
