Delay experience is owing to the manual verification of bank statements with few and limited staff strength
Open the conclusion of this verification, all affected volunteers will be paid their long awaited 5 months stipends accordingly
“From the consolidated list of beneficiaries we received from the OAGF in September, the 14,200 beneficiaries with arrears of stipend were flagged for receiving a monthly payment from other MDAs, particularly from the NYSC
“It is possible that the 14,200 beneficiaries used their NYSC allowance bank accounts for N-Power and GIFMIS payment platform picked them for double payment.
Nexit CBN Loan
The Humanitarian Minister in the person of Umar Sadiya Farouq has refuted the claims and reaffirmed the Federal Government position to disburse adequate funds for the commencement of the Nexit CBN loan programme
Fund has been budgeted and in due time, each volunteer would get a minimum of 300,000 depending on the businesses volunteers would present, disbursement would starts, the statement added
For now, all volunteers not yet registered are advised to do so, as all registration hitches are being rectified
N-Power beneficiaries who have concluded the two-year job programme will now be able to access permanent job opportunities or business prospects in line with the N-power exit strategy, the Nigerian presidency announced
While the Batch B volunteers of 30,000 volunteers will be used as Agro enumerators
“200,000 beneficiaries will be engaged as financial services operators under a Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility (SANEF) scheme operated by the Central Bank of Nigeria under the plan”
“30,000 beneficiaries have been engaged as geospatial experts and enumerators in the Economic Sustainability Plan’s Mass Agric programme.
Others will have the option of benefiting from the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) micro-enterprise loans”
