N-power Batch A: Hope Rekindled, Stay Positive – Sadiya Umar, Uwais.

Tension got to the highest level, when N-power batch A volunteers woke up to Hear disengagement  news  published  from Leadership news media- a leading national daily in Nigeria.

The report disclosed government plan to disengage Batch A beneficiaries from the program.  

Apparently, the minster of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Umar Sadiya Faroug has swung into action to address the matter. In NTA good morning Nigeria, she urged Batch A beneficiaries to wait for an official statement from the Federal government.

In her right words “ We have not disclosed or made any official announcement on disengagement, disregard any malicious information and be focused in your Place of primary Assignment.’’

However, we will keep you appraise, when the presidency and the National Social Investment have strategies A glorious exit package, that will see that, our young promising individuals are not pushed to the street.

Adviser to the president on National Social Investment, Mariam Uwais, has urged beneficiaries to be calm and positive in their PPA, while they earn their monthly stipends

Uwais said, the federal government is still collaborating with stake holders in the private and business sectors, to see how they can engaged Batch A beneficiaries vividly.

In her words, “talks are ongoing; we have reached the highest pick of collaboration and agreements. Official statement will soon be on air, in regards to our plan for batch A.

Reactions from N-power Beneficiaries in the last 24 Hours Following the Disengagement News from Leadership News Paper

Some Beneficiaries disclosed that Federal government, Npower and humanitarian ministry are aware of the disengagement news, but to soften their minds, they decided to involve the leadership newspaper. You will be notified shortly when you already know what is on ground.

A handful of Beneficiaries slammed Leadership news media as a propaganda media that want to set the nation ablaze with fake news

Wicked people wish us out of this programme but God is still keeping us, they are helpless. They should enlarge their anger capacity.
