N-Exit: CBN/FG to Unveiled Affiliate Programmes as Registration Ends  : The Central Bank of Nigeria and the Federal Government will soon make known to the public, the loan affiliate ventures exited volunteers will fall back on, after the closure of the ongoing registration

These programmes are expected to be financed on a short and medium term bases, pending when volunteers are grounded in her chosen ventures

No one knows exactly the loan programmes that will be made available; how to ace ss it and the requirements for the loan.

She told reporters of the Transition plans developed since November 2019, and that all beneficiaries would be fully engaged according to the Psychometric assessment results

The minister made it clear, “we are only transiting volunteers into a meaningful and viable ventures, we will not throw volunteers to the street

Beneficiaries will be transitioned into Government Entrepreneurship Schemes and other Viable Private Sectors to boast the economy devastated by covid-19 “

According to Umar Sadiya Farouq, the Federal Government is gradually transitioning volunteers to the next level to make provision for others.

Responding to a question asked on NTA, the Minister hinted Government plan to transition volunteers without laying them off.

“As part of the transition process before eligible volunteers will be absorbed into government entrepreneurship schemes and engaging private sector bodies to absorb some of the beneficiaries, a compulsory completion of psychometric assessment would be done to determine competency and placement into various opportunities – Hajiya Sadiya Farouq disclosed.

The Federal Government will be opening opportunities in the services and real sectors of the economy where all volunteers will be deployed.

As shown in the N-Exit Registration Platform currently being filled, some key sectors for deployment include.

  • Real Estate
  •  Hospitality
  • Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
  • Creative industry
  • Finance (agency banking) 
  • Agriculture & Agro processing
  • Transport and Logistics
  •  Retail (e-commerce)
