CBN Empowerment Program 2022/2023 | NEXIT Loan & Training Update
The CBN empowerment program for exited Npower volunteers of Batch A and B is already in progress, Nexit has scheduled the second round of training, which is to happen soon
The CBN Empowerment program is solely for disengaged volunteers of the Npower program, consisting of 500,000 volunteers from both Batch A and B
More than 76,000 volunteers from BAtch A and B have already been trained and certificates are given to a handful of volunteers, in no distant time, all trained volunteers of the first batch will get their certificate, which is a proof that one has been trained
The second and third batches of the training will be concluded and the promised CBN loan of 3Milion each for successfully qualified volunteers will be disbursed
More than 400,000 volunteers are expected o benefit from this gesture, which is considered to be the largest in Africa,
The Empowerment program will train over 500,000 volunteers for Batch A and B, but the training is currently being delayed due to training logistics for the second batch and third batches
The good news is that instructors, facilities, and modalities are currently in place to deliver smooth and robust training, which will be accompanied by massive fund disbursement. FG is planning the largest and biggest fund disbursement ever to batch A and B- see this

Benefits of the CBN Empowerment Program 2021/2022
Volunteers will acquire skills and training to execute business and entrepreneurship
Over 500,000 volunteers would be given soft loans for Businesses amounting to 3milllion each
The CBN empowerment will lead to the massive provision of jobs
CBN will use a flexible platform to disburse fund (NMFB or NPFMFB)
